The Trailer for Mike Tyson’s Limited Series ‘Mike’ Has Been Released

Hulu has officially released the trailer for the upcoming limited series “Mike,” starring Trevante Rhodes. 

According to reports, Rhodes will play the role of the legendary boxer alongside Laura Harrier will be playing the role of Tyson’s ex-wife, Robin Givens, and Russell Hornsby who play Don King.

The series is described by Hulu as “an unauthorized and no-holds-barred look at the life of Mike Tyson. “I have been looking to tell my story for quite some time,” Tyson said in a statement. “With the recent launch of Legends Only League and the excitement from fans following my return to the ring, now feels like the perfect moment.” 

He added, “I look forward to collaborating with Martin, Antoine, Jamie, and the entire creative team to bring audiences a series that not only captures my professional and personal journey but also inspires and entertains.” 

Before the news of Mike began circulating, it was announced that another series based on Tyson was in development, and Martin Scorsese was supposed to be the executive producer. Antoine Fuqua was set to direct and Jamie Foxx landed the role of the former heavyweight champion. 

It’s not sure if the Foxx-led series is still in the works. Foxx was seen posting shirtless photos of himself in character last June. There have been no new updates. 

Mike is set to debut on August 25th.
