Thoughts? Virginia Teen Reportedly Admits To Fabricating Story About White Students Cutting Her Hair

According to CNN, 12-year old Amari Allen who attends a Christian school in Springfield, Virginia and made a claim stating that three white boys cut off her dreadlocks, and called her names is retracting her statement.

The head of the Immanuel Christian School, Stephen Danish, released a statement saying: “We can now confirm that the student who accused three of her classmates of assault has acknowledged that the allegations were false.”

Amari Allen’s aunt Lakeisha also made a statement apologizing: “We are so embarrassed, and we are so sorry…To those young boys and their parents, we sincerely apologize for the pain and anxiety these allegations have caused…To the administrators and families of Immanuel Christian School, we are sorry for the damage this incident has done to trust within the school family and the undue scorn it has brought to the school.”

It has also been reported that Allen and the three boys did get into a verbal dispute, nonetheless, the rest of the story was allegedly embellished.
