Tiffany Haddish Breaks Silence On Child Sexual Abuse Lawsuit

Tiffany Haddish speaks out about being accused of child sex abuse. We recently reported that she and fellow comedian, Aries Spears are currently being sued for child sex abuse and accused of “molesting and grooming” two siblings, who were minors at the time.

In a statement on her social media, the actress wrote, “I know people have a bunch of questions, I get it. I’m right there with you. Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little that I can say right now.”

The statement continued, “But, clearly, while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn’t funny at all and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it. I really look forward to being able to share a lot more about this situation as soon as I can.”

In a copy of the lawsuit obtained by CNN, it states “Jane Doe and John Doe were 14 and 7, respectively, when they allege that Haddish and Spears had them participate in sexually suggestive videos in a separate incident in 2013 and 2014.”

Haddish’s attorney stated that the mother of the two children has been accusing Haddish of these claims for years. “Every attorney who has initially taken on her case and there were several ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken down,” the statement said.
