Tina Turner is still making business moves.

The legendary singer has decided to let go of the rights to her music catalog for a hefty $50 million. Reports state that she also sold the rights of her image, name, and likeness to the publishing company, BMG.

“Like any artist, the protection of my life’s work, my musical inheritance, is something personal,” Turner said in a press release from BMG.

She continued, “I am confident that with BMG and Warner Music my work is in professional and reliable hands.”

Turner, 81, has let go of the rights to her hits such as, “What’s Love Got To Do With It”, “Proud Mary”, “The Best”, and more.

BMG’s CEO Hartwig Masuch also said in a press release, “Tina Turner’s musical journey has inspired hundreds of millions of people around the world and continues to reach new audiences.”

He continued, “We are honored to take on the job of managing Tina Turner’s musical and commercial interests. It is a responsibility we take seriously and will pursue diligently.”
