The season finale of Braxton Family Values aired Thursday night and the Braxton sisters shocked us all.
During a one-on-one therapy session with Iyanla Vanzant, Toni held nothing back. She recalls the day she got signed to her label and how her sisters reacted. Towanda, Trina & Tamar all cried and made her feel guilty.
Surprisingly, she says she would have soared, if it wasn’t for her family.
“When the career thing happened for me, it was a bad thing. I remember when I told my sisters they were crying. We had a family meeting. And my mom and dad weren’t really speaking to me. They were upset with me.”
When Iyanla asked what her life would look like without her family leaning on her. She says:
“I would have soared. Higher.”
