Trina Braxton has made it her business that all of her sisters were recognized in her recent Instagram post.
On August 7th, Braxton posted a photo of herself and her four sisters for National Sister’s Day and wrote a special message to her late sister, Traci.
“Happy #Nationalsisterday. I love you all. @tonibraxton, @itowandabraxton, @tamarbraxton, @therealtracibraxton- You are missed every day! Rest peacefully, Sis.”
According to the Atlanta Black Star, she also wrote before it was edited out, “Traci was and will always be an inspiration. I absolutely loved watching her on the show. She brought so much laughter into my home even in my darkest moments.”
Trina added, “I loved Traci. Her spirit was like a shining light. Traci is resting in the arms of the Lord, you will see her again. In our spiritual body. Singing ‘We are the Braxtons and you’ll see’ missing #braxtonfamilyvalues.”
The girls’ mother, Evelyn Braxton also commented on the post saying, “Happy National Sisters Day. Look at my beautiful daughters. Traci baby you are forever in our hearts.”
Traci Braxton passed in March after a year-long battle with esophageal cancer. She was surrounded by her family and friends during the time of her passing.
