Tupac Shakur will finally receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Reports state that the unveiling ceremony for the late rapper’s star will take place on June 7th and it will be located at 6212 Hollywood BLVD.
Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, spoke about the rapper’s latest honor. “Tupac Shakur was a rapper, actor, activist, poet, and revolutionary,” she said. “This iconic artist has continued to be part of the zeitgeist for decades after his passing and will continue to be an important cultural figure for many years to come. Surely, as one of L.A.’s own, Tupac’s star will be added to the list of most visited stars.”
This honor comes after Tupac received his own street name in Oakland, California. The ceremony will be live-streamed and will have at 10:30 am pst.
