It was just four months ago that model-turned-entrepreneur announced her calling to bring modeling to the masses with Modelland, and now she’s launched her quest for world domination with a new miniseries called Beauty.

People reports the show will premiere via Quibi, “an entertainment platform built for mobile viewing launching in April 2020,” and focus on breaking down barriers and challenging “traditional notions” of beauty.

“As I look into the future, I see radical changes in both how people ‘attain beauty,’ and how the world perceives beauty,” Banks said in a statement. “Our docu-series aims to expand and redefine the definition of beauty as we know it, challenging why we accept certain beauty parameters and reject others, and examining the beliefs behind those judgments.”

Tyra, whose new moniker is the mononym BanX, took to Instagram earlier this month to celebrate her return to the cover of Sports Illustrated, and captioned her photo with an encouraging, body positive message.

“Your support with X-ing out cookie cutter beauty has been heard loud and clear! So much more fight planned!”

One month ago today, I came out of modeling retirement for this cover and BanX was born. I’ve been told, for the first time in @sportsillustrated history, their website crashed when my cover was announced. And I am a lot heavier on this @Si_swimsuit cover than on the one I did 23 years ago. Your support with X-ing out cookie cutter beauty has been heard loud and clear! So much more fight planned! Can’t wait to show you what I have in store for you! #Modelland #BanX

When explaining the meaning behind her new name, Tyra said, “BanX is me, but she’s also every woman. BanX represents rebirth and that beauty boundaries only exist to be broken.”

She continued, “Mononyms are exciting in the industry,” she explained. “But usually models use their first names, like Iman. I want to flip the script and go by my last name. I’m taking something familiar and making it new. I’m wiser now and thicker.”

There are no details on a release date, but it’s clear the new age of beauty is coming soon!
