Baby Tyrese is finally here!
The singer and his wife, Samantha Gibson, welcomed their daughter, Soraya Lee Gibson, into the world early this morning (Oct. 2).
Tyrese uploaded a photo of himself sleeping on a couch with his daughter sleeping by his side on Instagram. He says Samantha was in labor for 30 hours before they were able to meet their little bundle of joy, who weighs 8 pound 6 oz.
The singer/actor says he and his wife are “overjoyed” with Soraya’s arrival, and know she “came here to change things.”
In addition to the announcement, Gibson penned a letter to his newborn daughter to let her know her parents “are going to love [her] and protect [her] till the end of this earth.
“Soraya we are going to love you and protect you till the end of this earth…. We prayed and invited the spirit of the lord into every room we went into and are truly blessed that God delivered on his promise….: Amen.”
Baby Soraya is Samantha’s first child, and Tyrese’s second. He says his daughter, Shayla, can’t wait to meet her little sister.
