Rapper Grand Daddy I.U. passed away at age 54.
Friend of the rapper, DJ Chuck Chillout, broke the news via Facebook. He was apart of the Juice Crew member emerged and signed to Cold Chillin’ Records. His debut album, Smooth Assassin, produced the tracks, “Something New” and “Sugar Free.”
LL Cool J spoke out following his passing. He says via Instagram, “Rest in power King. HipHop was in your DNA. @granddaddy_iu Thank You for your contribution.”
