Folks from all over are curious to see who Joe Biden will select to be his Vice President. Earlier this year, he did say he would choose a woman to serve alongside him. Now many are speculating that it might be FLOTUS Michelle Obama.
On Monday, Biden shared that he would definitely consider the Former First Lady as his running mate, however, he stated that he couldn’t promise his VP would be a woman of color, but it would be a woman. He says:
“I’ll commit to it [being] a woman. I think it’s very important that my administration look like the public, look like the nation. I committed there will be a woman of color on the Supreme Court, doesn’t mean there won’t be a vice president as well. In terms of who to pick, we’re just beginning the process…”
When he was asked about Mrs. Obama, he chuckled and said:
“I’d take her in a heartbeat. She’s brilliant. She knows the way around, she’s a really fine woman.”
