Viola Davis and Stephen Curry can add executive producer on their list of accolades. The two powerhouses are set to be a part of the documentary, Emanuel, a movie about the 2015 Charleston Church shooting, in which Dylann Roof killed nine African American churchgoers.
This documentary will include interviews from survivors, family members, and it is centered around faith, love, and justice. This tragic shooting took place on June 17, 2015. The movie’s release date has yet to be determined.
