Now this is what you call a tribute!

The American Music Awards took place Tuesday night and the show ended with a special gospel tribute to the ‘Queen of Soul,’ Aretha Franklin. The gospel celebration featured some of our favorites including Gladys Knight, Mary Mary, Cece Winans, Ledisi and Donnie McClurkin.

Knight opened the tribute with her rendition of the “American Grace.” McClurkin then took the stage to perform “Climb Higher Mountains.” Winans took over and sang “Mary Don’t You Weep” and Ledisi did her thing with “How I Got Over.” Mary Mary closed the tribute with “Old Landmark.”
