Wendy Williams is receiving treatment for her alleged alcohol abuse.

Will Selby, Williams’ manager said, “Wendy is at a facility doing her best to be her best. She’s taking it day by day.” Selby went on to address the negative comments and information about the media Queen.

“Why don’t we just stop for a moment and just say, ‘Hey, how is she? Is she doing OK today?'” he added. “Why is that not the focus? Why isn’t that what we’re talking about on a daily basis?”

This news comes after we reported that Williams’ son, Kevin Hunter Jr., expressed his concerns for his mother. He said that his mother’s health was in a downward spiral and shared that she was hospitalized in May.

He also said that his mother’s body does not process alcohol the same way a normal person would. “ We’ve spoken about it. I’ve said, ‘This is one thing where you don’t know how to approach it normally, and that’s fine’, and it’s gotten to a point where, yes, it could have that effect that it might be fatal because it affects her way worse than a normal person since it stays in her system,” he said.

Hunter Jr. went on to speak on the concern of the people his mother keeps around her. Wendy Williams is currently under court-ordered guardianship. We are wishing for the best for her and her loved ones during this time.
