Wendy Williams has been publicly going back and forth with Wells Fargo about her money and reported that she was close to coming to a resolution with them.
However, according to reports, the courts appointed the financial institution as the guardian over her accounts. Williams is not happy about the decision.
Williams’ attorney, La’Shawn Thomas said in a statement that she doesn’t want anyone to have control over her accounts. “Please be advised that Wendy is not in agreement with the appointment of a financial guardian by the court. Wendy has been very clear that she does not want a financial guardian to tell her what she can and cannot do with her money.”
Thomas added that Williams “feels capable of hiring her own team who would work for her and not the court.”
We have reported that Wendy Williams went on social media to address her financial issues with Wells Fargo. She stated that she only had $2 left to her name and desperately wanted access to her accounts.
