This is bad parenting 101.
Earlier this week a man saw a 10-month-old baby by herself crawling in the street, no parent in sight. The man told the news that at first, he thought it was a toy.
His initial instinct was to help the little girl but he wanted proof of the crazy situation so he managed to snap a photo and then rushed to her safety. As he picked up the baby, a neighbor came outside and walked with the Good Samaritan to the little girl’s home.
The parents of the 10-month-old claim that they had no idea the baby was gone and that one of their other children must have left the back door open. Police and child protective services are investigating but as for right now the baby is with her family and no charges have been made.
