Sister Act fans get ready!
Whoopi Goldberg will be starring in the role she originally planned in the two classical films, bringing Deloris Van Cartier back to life. The actress will return to the London stage for ‘Sister Act the Musical.’
Joining Goldberg is Jennifer Saunders who will play the “convent’s Mother Superior.”
On Twitter, Goldberg shared the news:
“Yeah, the original Deloris Van Carter is back. A little older, a little seasoned but really still kind of out there.”
