Whoopi Goldberg is looking to keep the power of black girl magic alive.
The EGOT winner is writing about an older black woman who happens to be a superhero in her new movie.
According to UPROXX, Goldberg said in an interview that the main character had acquired superpowers. “Since I was a little kid, I’ve been obsessed with superheroes. They’re all saving the earth all the time. But do know who’s really going to save the earth? Old Black women.”
At the moment, it is unclear if Whoopi Goldberg will be playing the superhero character but if so, would you want to see the movie?
