Singer and beauty mogul, Rihanna, has been heavily promoting her new Fenty fashion line. During her promo run, Fans were completely caught by surprise when she introduced herself on camera, with the correct way of pronouncing her name.
During a video with Vogue, Rihanna is introducing her Fenty collection- pop up shop in Paris. Once the video surfaced on the internet, one Twitter user took notice to the fact that fans have been saying the singers name incorrectly, “so we’ve been pronouncing Rihanna’s name wrong this whole time.”
Wow! How do you pronounce her name? Another social media user stated that, “us Brits we BEEN pronouncing her name right since dayyy [one].” Another user tweeted, “Only Americans pronounce it as ‘rihaaaaaana lol’” Insinuating that mostly Americans have been calling the Bad Gal by the wrong name.
This isn’t the first time the singer clarified the correct way to say her name, she also let fans know back in 2012.
