OJ Simpson’s estate is selling his X-rated prized possessions in order to knock off some of his debts.
According to TMZ, Malcolm LaVergne, Simpson’s longtime attorney and executor of his estate, confirmed that Simpsons’ stash of prison pornography is being considered for sale.
Details of how he acquired the magazines during his 2008 prison sentence in Nevada remain unclear. But according to the outlet, Simpson and his fellow inmates were allowed to read explicit magazines, and turns out he had quite the collection.
After O.J.’s 2017 release, he kept the stash, since he had access to online porn on his phone. The auction is tentatively planned for early 2025, though nothing’s finalized.
Massive Debt
Simpson, who passed away earlier this year at the age of 76, left behind significant debts.
His family announced his death, stating, “On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren.”
LaVergne has also been working to raise funds by selling one of Simpson’s homes, but it’s still a small dent in the $33.5 million judgment Simpson owes from a 1997 wrongful death lawsuit.
O.J. was acquitted in his murder trial, but he was later found liable for the deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman in a Santa Monica civil court. Although the OG judgment was $33.5 million, interest on the unpaid debt has reportedly raised to around $100 million.
