Beyoncé has once again solidified her legacy, becoming the female artist with the most Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certifications. On December 17, the RIAA announced that the superstar now holds 103 certified titles, spanning singles and albums.

The milestone marks a significant achievement for the 32-time Grammy winner. Beyoncé’s latest album, Cowboy Carter, earned Platinum certification, while its standout singles, “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages,” reached 2x Platinum and Gold statuses, respectively. Her 2022 album, Renaissance, also added to her accolades, achieving 2x Platinum certification.

A Legacy of Hits by Beyoncé

Beyoncé’s record-setting career reflects her consistent impact on the music industry. Songs like “Drunk in Love” and “Crazy in Love,” both collaborations with husband Jay-Z, are now certified 8x Platinum. Her earlier albums, such as Dangerously in Love and B’Day, continue to resonate with fans, achieving 7x and 5x Platinum statuses, respectively.

Michele Ballantyne, RIAA President and COO, celebrated the artist’s accomplishment. “We are so excited to recognize the incredible talent, hard work, and creative spirit reflected across Beyoncé’s career,” she stated. “Congratulations on this crowning milestone, Beyoncé, Parkwood Entertainment, Columbia Records—and we see you, BeyHive, streaming on repeat!”

The RIAA’s Gold & Platinum program has long been the standard for recognizing commercial success in music. Gold certifications mark sales of 500,000 units, Platinum represents 1 million, and Diamond is awarded for 10 million units sold.

A Record-Breaking Year

This announcement follows Beyoncé’s historic recognition as the most Grammy-nominated artist in history, with 99 career nominations. Her latest nods include categories such as Best Country Solo Performance for “16 Carriages” and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with Post Malone for “Levi’s Jeans.”

As Beyoncé prepares for her Christmas Day halftime performance during the NFL’s Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game, her fans, known as the BeyHive, have even more reason to celebrate. With her unstoppable momentum, Beyoncé continues to set the bar for artistry, influence, and success in the music industry.
