Odell Beckham Jr. has released an official statement after being named in a sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy.
In the statement, he said, “I have been informed of the allegations about me in the suit in CA. I really can’t even believe that my name is mentioned in that matter. There is absolutely no truth to those allegations.”
He denied meeting the accuser and said that he was unaware of ever being in Orinda, California, where the alleged assault happened. “I do not know and have never met the person that filed the suit,” the statement continued. “I was not anywhere near Orinda, CA at that time. In fact, I don’t think I have ever even been to Orinda, CA. I have never done anything like that, and I would never do anything like that to anyone. I’m confident that these ridiculous claims against me will be dismissed.”
Odell Beckham Jr. was named in the amended lawsuit along with social media star Druski, who called it a “fabricated lie.” He also said that he was not a public figure at the time of the incident, nor did he have any connections to the entertainment industry.
Beckham Jr. commented on Druski’s post, “Boy, I’ll tell you what. This world makes absolutely no sense.” He continued, “I am covered by God. He will prevail. I kno who I am, I kno who u are, keep ur head. That name will be cleared. Shxts stupid.”
The NFL player was accused of participating in the alleged sexual assault of one of Diddy’s accusers, Ashley Parham, in an Orinda, California residence, in March 2018. In the lawsuit, he was identified by his middle name, “Cornelius.”
“Plaintiff has come to discover the Defendant Doe Cornelius who raped her was Defendant Odell,” the lawsuit states.
