Diddy has reportedly been placed in solitary confinement after a prison fight, according to TMZ.
Multiple sources report that Diddy was involved in a physical altercation with a fellow inmate at New Jersey’s FCI Fort Dix. The fight reportedly broke out after the inmate insulted the disgraced Bad Boy Records founder, who then escalated the verbal argument into a fistfight. Staff quickly stepped in to break up the scuffle, with sources noting that Diddy “held his own.”
Following the alleged scuffle, Diddy is said to have been placed into solitary confinement.
A Federal Bureau of Prisons rep shared a statement about the alleged incident.
“The Federal Bureau of Prisons does not comment on the conditions of confinement, disciplinary matters, or other information regarding individual inmates due to privacy, safety, and security concerns.”
In September 2024, Diddy was arrested by federal authorities. The indictment charged him with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Prosecutors alleged that he ran a criminal enterprise that subjected women to physical abuse, coercion, and forced participation in drug-fueled sexual encounters known as “freak offs”. While a federal jury acquitted him of the racketeering and sex trafficking charges, he was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution and sentenced to 50 months in federal prison.
DIDDY’S RELEASE DATE
Diddy is currently projected for release in early 2028 from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. Accounting for time served, the Federal Bureau of Prisons anticipates his release in February 2028. Upon his release, Combs will be required to serve five years of supervised release, complete a mandatory domestic violence intervention program, and submit to drug testing.
Earlier this month, video surfaced showing the 56-year-old walking the grounds of FCI Fort Dix. Shortly after, news broke that he successfully sold his waterfront estate on Miami’s Star Island for $55 million in an off-market deal. The sale yields a $20 million profit over the $35 million he spent in 2021 to acquire the mansion from music icons Gloria and Emilio Estefan.
