The long-awaited Michael Jackson biopic is now rumored to become a two-part movie.

According to reports, the movie will adjust its October 3rd release date. “Michael” has a budget for $155 million, and the late singer’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson, will portray the King of Pop. Nia Long and Colman Domingo will play Jackson’s parents, Joe and Katherine Jackson.

The movie will also star Larenz Tate as Berry Gordy and Laura Harrier as Suzanne de Pass. At the moment, the script is undergoing revisions and it will require some reshoots. This isn’t the first time that the film’s release date has had to be adjusted.

The film was initially set to be released on April 18, 2025, but then it was pushed back to October 3rd because of legal complications tied to a 1993 settlement between the singer and the family of Jordan Chandler. The family wanted their name excluded from the film.

When do you think that the film will be released?
