Chris Brown was granted bail and released from a UK prison just before his world tour.

We recently reported that the “RunIt” singer was arrested at his hotel in Manchester for an alleged assault that took place two years ago. Music producer Abraham Diaw said that Brown hit him with a tequila bottle in an unprovoked attack while at a nightclub in London in 2023.

Brown has not been asked to put in a plea to the assault charge, and he was not present when Judge Tony Baumgartner granted him bail. He was originally denied bail on Friday; however, on Wednesday, he was granted bail on the condition that he would pay 4 million pounds ($5.4 million). He also has to pay an additional 1 million pounds within the next seven days.

Chris Brown was required to surrender his passport, and can only use it when travelling for his tour.
