LeBron James recently spoke about how  his marriage to Savannah is not as “picture perfect.”

During an interview with Complex’s 360 with Speedy Morman, he shated what he’s learned about marriage.

“I’m gonna be honest, a relationship is never picture perfect,” James explained

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar went on to say that each party must be committed to working on the marriage

“If you’re okay with working through the hardships and the adverse moments, then it will make it all worth it,” James said.

“We’ve been together since high school, so, sh*ti ain’t always gonna be a bed of roses,” James continued. “In any relationship, let alone someone you’re living with for over 20 years.”

As the conversation continued, James gave some keys that has helped him and Savannah over the years.

“I think communication is number one. Being honest is number two,” he said. “Number three is, just like, you have to be okay with being uncomfortable in relationships sometimes. You can’t always have it your way, it’s not gonna work that way.”

Last Sunday, LeBron and Savannah celebrated 12 years of marriage.

Happy anniversary, my beautiful 👸🏾🦋!!! ✨✨✨✨. I love you, mama ♾️” James wrote in an Instagram Story post.

James also spoke briefly about his rumored fallout with Drake.

“Always wish him the best. Obviously, um, different places right now, currently,”James said. “He’s doing his thing, I’m doing mine. But it’s always love, for sure.”

Things changed between the two when James was spotted dancing to Kendrick Lamar’s viral hit, “Not Like Us,” at “The Pop Out: Ken & Friends.”

On Instagram later that year, Drake spoke about the loyality of his real frends.

“My real friends are definitely in the building,” Drake said. “But let me tell you that you’re going to come to a point in life where people you thought were friends, people you thought were close to you switch up.”
