Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have joyously welcomed their first daughter, Rocki Irish Mayers, the couple announced Wednesday. The baby girl arrived Sept. 13, Rihanna revealed in an Instagram post.
Rocki joins her older brothers — RZA, born in May 2022, and Riot Rose, born in 2023. The post simply read: “Rocki Irish Mayers Sept 13 2025 🎀,” and showed images of Rihanna cradling the newborn and of tiny baby shoes.
A Milestone daughter for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky
In May 2025, Rihanna and Rocky first revealed they were expecting their third child during the Met Gala. At that event, the singer showed off her growing bump, and Rocky acted as a gala co-chair as they made their announcement. At the time, he told reporters, “It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up. And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us ’cause we definitely happy, you know.”
This marks the first time the couple have welcomed a daughter, continuing their pattern of using names that begin with the letter “R.” Rocky had previously expressed hope for a baby girl, saying, “I feel like it’s going to be a girl … This pregnancy is so different from the other two.”
Rihanna has spoken previously about dreaming of having a girl. As she told one interviewer, she would welcome “as many [children] as God wants me to have.”
The birth comes months after Rocky was acquitted on firearms charges in Los Angeles earlier this year. During the trial, Rihanna was publicly supportive, attending proceedings with their sons.
Even amid intense public scrutiny, the couple has maintained a measured and expressive public image. Rihanna, a nine-time Grammy winner and founder of Fenty Beauty, continues to balance her roles as artist, entrepreneur and mother.
