Change.org campaign titled “Deport Nicki Minaj to Trinidad” has surpassed 80,000 signatures, after the rapper’s high-profile appearance at a Turning Point USA event on Sunday, December 21.

The petition, created in July, accuses Minaj of what its creator, describes as “erratic behavior” and alleges a pattern of public conduct that has alienated sections of her fan base.

“Nicki Minaj is currently spiraling out of control and seems to be experiencing psychosis,” the petition reads. It brings up her alleged harassment of Beyoncé and Jay-Z and also mentions her husband, Kenneth Petty, as a “stain on her reputation.”

“Deporting Nicki Minaj back to her home country, Trinidad, seems the most viable solution to curtail her harmful actions. It would ensure the safety of American citizens and send a clear message that harassment and support of criminal activity will not be tolerated,” reads the final paragraph of the petition.”

The rapper, 43, had previously stated in a 2018 Instagram post that she “came to this country as an illegal immigrant at 5 years old,” per People.

That petition caw an upsurge in signatures after Minaj’s appearance at a Turning Point USA conference, a conservative political gathering, where she spoke alongside Erika Kirk, the widow of late rightwing commentator Charlie Kirk.

At the conference Minaj called conservative activists “the cool kids” in the midst of her growing admiration for the current administration. She tripled down on praising both Trump and Vance. “I love both of them—they’re both powerful men, smart, strong, all of that,” she said. “Both of them have a very uncanny ability to be someone that you relate to. I can relate to them. When I hear them speak, I know that they’re one of us.”

The petition was reportedly launched by someone using the name “Pedonika Minaj,” a handle that appears to reference both Minaj’s real name (Onika Tanya Maraj.

Despite the rapid increase in signatures, the Grammy-nominated rhymer has yet to address the move on social media.
