Jennifer Lopez is entering her “happy era.”

Speaking with “Extra’s” Derek Hough at rehearsals for her newly relaunched  Las Vegas residency, Lopez shared her excitement about her next chapter. Lopez described the concert as “the quintessential J.Lo show.”

“We’re very excited,” Lopez told Derek. “And we’re doing the show again in Vegas, and we’re there every weekend in March, which is exciting, and adding some new songs to the show.”

As “The JLo Show” is set to return on March 6, she is also releasing her new song, “Save Me Tonight” with David Guetta. She spoke about being excited to drop a new musical to accompany her show.

“It’s been a while since I put out a new song, but David Guetta had this song, and I just loved it,” said Lopez. “ It just felt very much of the moment for me.”

She added: “You see who I am, I think, as not just an entertainer, a performer, but as an artist and as a human.”

Lopez went on to share just how grateful she is to be performing after so many years and the appreciation she has for her fans.

“I’ve never looked at it as a job. It’s just what I love to do.  I just feel fortunate that I have these amazing fans who’ve supported me for so many years,” Lopez said. “And there’s so much love that I feel that I always want to give the love back to them. It’s just been an incredible blessing in my life. I don’t know what I would do without it.”

Designed as a theatrical, four-act spectacle, the production takes audiences on a chronological journey through Lopez’s career. The show goes “from the Bronx to Broadway.” Also, the show features a massive 17-piece band, including an all-female string section, and combines her iconic pop and R&B hits like “Jenny from the Block” and “Waiting for Tonight.”

“The JLo Show” is at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace from March 6-28.
