Anderson .Paak’s divorce is back in motion after being on the back burner for over a year.

Anderson and his estranged wife, Jae Lin, who tied the knot in November 2010, have been seperated for over a decade. The Silk Sonic singer first initiated proceedings in January 2024.

In a new update from TMZ, Anderson’s estranged wife, Jae Lin, filed new legal requests seeking primary physical custody of their sons, ages 9 and 13, as well as spousal support.

According to recent legal documents, Lin has requested full physical primary custody but wants to share legal custody with the singer. It also states that she wants Anderson to be awarded visitation rights along with secondary custody.

Financially Lin wants support but wants to terminate the court’s ability to award such support to Anderson.

In Lin’s filing, she left the official separation date open and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for separation. Notably, in his 2024 filing, Anderson left the separation date as to be determined.

Lin’s request arrives during Anderson’s rumored romance with TV personality Jeannie Mai. Last month, the “Leave the Door Open” singer and Mai were spotted cuddled up at his speakeasy restaurant and bar, Andy’s, in Hollywood.

Back in 2024, the same year as his divorce filing, Anderson was spotted with two female musicians.

The first was a Dutch musician later identified as Sterre Marith Tapilatu. The pair was spotted in Mexico having a steamy moment, per The Blast.

In December 2024, Anderson and Mariah Carey were spotted holding hands together. They were reportedly heading to dinner in Aspen, Colorado.

Outside of romance, the half-Korean singer recently directed his first film, K-Pops!. The family comedy stars Anderson, his son Soul Rasheed, Yvette Nicole Brown, and K-Pops! artists.

Anderson explained to Variety that the film idea was birthed during the pandemic. “He was into two things: he wanted to be a YouTuber and he loved K-pop. I didn’t know about either of them,” .Paak told Variety. “It brought me back to being a kid, making skits with my family and friends.”
