Jennifer Lopez is living her best life in her freedom era.

In an upcoming episode of “Nightline” Lopez revealed that she feels totally “free” since her marriage to Ben Affleck ended.

“I’m in my happy era,” Lopez said to host Juju Chang in a preview clip that aired on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday. “I think, for the first time in my life, I feel like I’m free; I’m on my own. And it feels really good.”

Lopez said that hasn’t felt this free since she was in her early 20s.

“And even before that. I’ve always had boyfriends,” said Lopez. “There was always someone in my life, and so many things that I felt like were out of my control.”

Lopez also shared that one of the biggest lessons she’s learned is “to stop putting so much pressure on herself all the time.”

“I’ve gotten to the point where I really trust myself and appreciate myself a little bit more. Instead of being so hard on myself and always trying to prove myself,” Lopez explained. Following the divorce, Lopez said she “had to stop everything” and take “a year off from work.”

“I canceled tours and just decided to be home,” she said. “And sit in what had happened without running away from it through work, through another person, through anything – just sit.”

Lopez spoke about the current status of dating life.

“No. I’m not [seeing anyone]!” she responded, after Chang asked if she was “dating up a storm” now that she’s single. “God forbid, I don’t want to ruin anything!”

On March 6, Lopez relaunched her Las Vegas residency, “The JLo Show.” She described the concert as “the quintessential J.Lo show.”

“We’re very excited,” Lopez said, “And we’re doing the show again in Vegas, and we’re there every weekend in March, which is exciting, and adding some new songs to the show.”

As “The JLo Show” returned, Lopez released her new song, “Save Me Tonight” with David Guetta.
