Bad Boys franchise actress Theresa Randle was arrested following an alleged altercation but was released after two days.
Per court documents obtained by TMZ, the retired actress was booked on March 1 on suspicion of corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant, a felony offense under California law.
The outlet notes that she was released two days later “with cops citing insufficient evidence as the reason they let her go.” Other details such as who was involved and what led to her arrest have not been publicly disclosed.
Prior altercation with law enforcement
The March booking follows a previous run-in with law enformence in October 2024, per the Los Angeles Times.
At the time, police were called to a Los Angeles-area home over a reported assault. An officer reported that there was an argument between Randle and another person in the 500 block of 7th Street. Randle allegedly struck the victim, and returned to the downtown L.A home.
The 61-year-old was not present when officers first arrived, but a follow-up call two days later, referencing a possible domestic dispute and a restraining order violation, brought them back.
She was arrested at that time in connection with the earlier incident. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office ultimately declined to file charges shortly after her booking.
It remains unclear whether the two shared the same living space.
Three years ago, Randle, who was replaced by Tasha Smith in the fourth installment of Bad Boys, was seen using a walker near Los Angeles’ Skid Row. The viral footage prompted widespread concern among fans about her health and circumstances. At the time she was 58-years old.
Randle broke into film with a role in Malcolm X and has since starred in Beverly Hills Cop III, Space Jam, Spawn, Girl 6 in addition to Bad Boys.
