Lil Wayne skipped out on his concert in Maine, according to the Bangor Daily News.

Scheduled to perform at the Bangor Waterfront in Bangor, Maine, on Tuesday, June 30, Wayne was a no-show.

Wayne’s set was supposed to follow 2 Chainz’s performance at 10:45 p.m. But at 11 p.m., the audience was informed that Wayne would not be showing up until the end of the night. In his place, a guest DJ played for several hours before the crowd was dismissed.

Rita Sack said she drove “more than six hours from Nova Scotia to attend the show.

“Well, I came here for Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz. And it was the most terrible experience,” Sack told WABI.  “Never mind the money. It’s like moments in life, and that was going to be a moment.”

[My friend] left her six-month-old baby for the first time. Like, it’s people’s time. Just don’t waste people’s time,” Sack continued.“We paid for Lil Wayne. Like, the least you can do is come out for a minute, apologize, you know? And kst take the moment and be like, hey guys, sorry, not feeling it, feeling a little sick.”

“My Maine fans, I’m so sorry…The show is being rescheduled to July 28,” he wrote. Please hold on to your tickets; they will be honored for the rescheduled date. More information will be emailed directly to ticket holders,” he wrote.

“I ain’t s— without you. I can’t wait to come back and give you the show you deserve,” Wayne continued. “Thanks for the inquiry.”

While he plans to come back to Maine, Wayne has several more concert dates to fulfill.
