Cardi B may be stepping back for a bit.
In an X Spaces conversation, she informed her fans that pressing her about new music isn’t going to speed up her process. She also responded to fans who questioned her release timeline and criticized the uneven promotion and music videos given to certain songs.
“When y’all complain, it doesn’t make me want to sit down. No, it makes me want to say, ‘I ain’t doing s—,’” she said. “How about that? That’s the type of person I am.”
Cardi added that not every song gets—or needs—the same visual treatment, aesthetic focus, or music video budget.
“Not everything is going to have the same aesthetic as the other ones,” she said, referencing her past releases. “I know I have not been in the studio. I have not been doing all that s— right now.”
In other Cardi B news, she recently addressed on Instagram Live whether she had her butt injections reversed.
“A lot of y’all keep telling me to go get my a** reduced,” Cardi explained. “I don’t need to go get my a** reduced, news flash, I did get my a ** reduced.”
She also said that she “can’t just go and lipo my butt because my skin is like kinda loose.”
“That’s why my a shakes so much,” she said.
“So if I just go and get a lipo reduction, that is the easy way, my a could drop,” Cardi continued. “So I would have to cut myself. And I’m not cutting myself. I’m not sitting down for four months. I’m outside, like I said. I like my body how it looks right now. I’m comfortable in my skin.”
“I’m very, very honest,” she added about her admission. “First of all, I got two lipos and one ass reduction.”
Cardi then spoke about how her naturally “small frame” was the main reason she chose to reduce the injections.
“First thing first, I am a small girl,” she shared. “I’m a very small, petite girl. My mom is petite. My sister’s petite. And my aunts are small.”
