Duane “Keefe D” Davis has allegedly been involved in a prison fight as he is set to stand trial on March 17.

Reports say that Keefe D was involved in a “violent altercation at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas.” The altercation between him and a fellow inmate escalated to what prison officials call a “mutual combat.” Keefe reportedly put the other guy in a headlock during their fight.

Because of this recent incident, Keefe is facing an additional battery charge, which was filed by the other inmate. Although it is unclear why the fight began, Keefe said that he was “standing his ground” and that it wasn’t his fault.

Keefe D is currently in jail awaiting trial in regards to Tupac’s murder, which he maintains his innocence. However, in the past, he has made remarks that led up to the rapper’s 1996 murder. In his 2019 memoir, Compton Street Legend, he wrote, “Tupac chose the wrong game to play and the wrong n****s to play with,” alluding that Tupac’s associates didn’t protect him.

He has also spoken about knowing the details of Tupac’s murder and hinted that he was involved but refused to name the shooter during his now-infamous interview with VLAD TV. “I’m not gonna go into details on that one,” he said.”Keep the streets, homie.”

Tupac’s murder trial was originally slated for November 2024 but was postponed until March 2025. It is expected to bring forth unanswered questions surrounding the rapper’s murder. Tupac was gunned down in 1996 in Las Vegas.
