According to TMZ, Tisha Campbell Martin has dropped the restraining order against her estranged husband, Duane Martin. This is following her claims that he had been abusive to her for years. In court documents, the actress says, “Duane grabbed me by my arm to get me in the bedroom.”
The two appeared in court last week. Sources say Tisha dropped the restraining order to make co-parenting easier for the both of them. Although she still fears Duane “it makes it easier for the both of them to attend activities for and with their children.”
Throughout the case, Duane has denied allegations of abuse and claims that it was fabricated. His attorney says,
“Duane has attempted to remain silent on this issue out of respect for his family and most importantly, his children’s well-being.”
TMZ also reports that Tisha and Duane “will give each other advance notice if they are both going to be at the same event for their sons.”
