North Carolina native Anthony Hamilton and actor Omari Hardwick are teaming up for a new album, Pages, according to YouKnowIGotSoul.
The spoken word album, featuring 18 tracks, is a journey through chapters of life, told with voice, poetry, and melody. Titles like “Entry Page,” “Page 1,” “Why the Paged Word Stings,” and “Final Page” make it clear that this isn’t a classic collection of individual tracks. Instead, it is a continuous narrative unfold. Listeners figuratively leaf through page after page of a musical story that intertwines intimate moments, powerful emotions, and profound messages.
Although he tours regularly, “Pages” is Hamilton’s first major release since his 2024 single “QUEEN.” While Hamilton’s previous works relied heavily on classic soul and R&B, here he ventures into a fusion of poetry, literature, and music.
The overall sound of “Pages” is warm, organic, and commanding. Hamilton maintains his soulful tone on several tracks with Hardwick reciting emotional poetry in-between.
“My longtime bro & I jumped in the lab last year & made a journal called an album…for each & every ONE of you,” Hardwick wrote on his Instagram page.
The album follows previous collaborations between the two artists, including the singles “hOme” (2018) and “beaUtiful prOblem” (2024).
