Notably absent from the list is Nashville, Tennessee, often considered the heart of country music. “Cowboy Carter” is Beyoncé’s first country album, inspired by her past experiences of feeling unwelcome in the genre. “This album has been over five years in the making,” she shared. “It was born out of an experience where I did not feel welcomed, and it was very clear that I wasn’t.”
Beyoncé Album Success and Grammy Wins
The tour announcement follows Beyoncé’s groundbreaking success at the 2025 Grammy Awards, where she won Album of the Year for “Cowboy Carter.” She also secured two country music awards, further solidifying her impact on the genre. “I feel very full and very honored,” she said while accepting the award.
