Bobby Brown Misses Texas Tour Stops Due To Exhaustion

New Edition has been on the road for “The Legacy Tour” with all members performing but for their Texas stop, only five participated. Recently, group member Bobby Brown had to miss their Dallas and Houston show dates due to exhaustion.

“To my New Edition Texas fans, I love you, and I’m sorry I missed you this weekend. San Diego-Be ready!! You will get the best of me and my New Edition brothers,” Brown shared in a statement.

New Edition is comprised of members Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Bobby Brown, Ronnie DeVoe, Johnny Gill and Ralph Tresvant. Notable for hits like “Candy Girl”, “Cool It Now”, “Mr.Telephone Man”, the group has been active for over forty years. New Edition has a total of seven studio albums, with One Love (2004) being their last one.

In 2012, the group received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Soul Train Awards. Their ascension to being a legendary group was chronicled on BET, with a three-part docu-series,The New Edition Story.

New Edition has 15 tour stops remaining, with San Diego being the next one on April 6th.

Keith Sweat, Tank, and Guy have been traveling with the superstar band as opening acts on “The Legacy Tour.”

Fans took to social to share their get-well wishes for Brown. “Bobby, we were saddened to know you couldn’t perform in Houston on Saturday. Praying you have better health so you are able to finish the tour. 🙏 Please know your NE brothers represented very well on your behalf. 💯 May God continue to bless you for many years to come, one fan commented.
