After receiving a lot of backlash on social media about denying his biological children, Brian McKnight is finally breaking his silence and addressing all of the allegations against him.
The drama between McKnight and his family started after he posted a photo of him and his stepdaughter, Jules, on social media with the caption that read, “Today we celebrate you Jules on your birthday. Your mom and I couldn’t be prouder of you and I couldn’t ask for a better daughter than you!!! Happy Birthday to the best daughter ever! Love u a zillion.”
He has since gone back on Instagram to put an end to the rumors that he is a deadbeat dad. On Friday, May 5, he wrote, “Not sure how these posts that have been sitting here this whole time were left out of the false narrative that is trending.”
He added, “Abandonment? There’s always more to every story. Stay tuned.” McKnight then pointed out that he has posted on his social media account acknowledging his biological children over the years.
