Bruce Willis’ health is on the decline, and his wife Emma Heming Willis is doing everything she can to help.
During a recent interview with Diane Sawyer, she revealed that her husband is currently living in a second home with 24-hour care. “It was one of the hardest decisions that I’ve had to make so far,” Hemming Willis said. “But I knew, first and foremost, Bruce would want that for our daughters.”
She added, “You know, he would want them to be in a home that was more tailored to their needs, not his needs.” Emma and Bruce Willis have two children, Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11. He also has three other daughters, Rumer, 37, Scout, 34, and Tallulah, 31, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Demi Moore.
In 2023, it was reported that the beloved actor was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, which is a “neurological disorder that mainly affects the areas of the brain that are associated with personality, behavior, and language.”
As the interview continued, Heming Willis revealed that the actor’s brain is failing him. “The language is going. We’ve learned to adapt, and we have a way of communicating with him, which is just a different way.”
She did clarify that the actor is “still very mobile and is in really great health overall.”
