Chloe Bailey revealed how she discovered her ex was cheating and the reason she waited to confront him.
Appearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Bailey broke down how she discovered the infidelity.
According to the singer, evidence came from both alert fans, who messaged either her or her godmother. She also recalled spotting several immediate red flags in her space, including a stray hair tie and an eyelash extension she knew wasn’t hers.
After finding an eyelash extension, Bailey said: “she kept her emotions to herself and reached out to her godmother.”
“I kept it internal, and I took a picture of it, and I texted my godmom,” Bailey said. “She’s like my voice of reason.”
Bailey said she delayed waiting to confront her ex until the next morning.
“I peeped it, and I kept it quiet till the next morning. And then I walked into the bathroom like it was brand new,” said Bailey. “I still wanted my night of cuddles.”
“I’m that toxic,” Bailey added. Of course, her ex denied that he cheated.
When asked if she ever lived out some of her vengeful lyrics, Bailey was quick with a response.
Depends on what your definition of cheating is,” she said. “My definition is like, I’ll just start responding to people I never responded to.
But Bailey said when she’s done with the relationships, she doesn’t keep in contact.
“And then once I’m out of it, I just won’t text them back,” she continued.
This isn’t the first time that Bailey spoke about dealing with infidelity.
On The Zach Sang Show in 2023, she opened up about having a cheating partner “a couple of times.” She also spoke about how she decided to move on.
“I’m like, ‘You know, we aren’t perfect humans, but you cheat on me? I’m out.’ And they don’t believe me until their number is blocked,” she said at the time.
