Chris Brown is lashing out at critics on social media after facing backlash regarding his newly announced stadium tour with Usher.
In a series of Instagram posts, the 36-year-old performer dismissed those questioning the collaboration, labeling critics as “Karens” and “fake woke” for bringing up his history of legal troubles and domestic violence.
The joint venture, titled the Raymond & Brown Tour — or the “R&B Tour” — is scheduled to begin June 26 at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver. The trek will visit major stadiums across the country before concluding in Tampa this December. Despite the commercial scale of the tour, many social media users on Instagram and TikTok have voiced concerns about the pairing, citing Brown’s documented history of violence against women.
“The funniest and weirdest s*** ever to me is the fact that people have the option to come to my tour and option not to,” Brown wrote in an Instagram Story on Sunday.
He predicted the venues would be packed with loyal fans, much like his 2025 Breezy Bowl XX world tour, which reportedly grossed approximately $300 million and stands as his most successful run to date.
The two veteran performers have a long history of professional cooperation, including the hit song “New Flame.”
Usher previously described Brown as a “little brother” in an interview with BigBoyTV, stating that he has always been there him.
