Tennis superstar, Coco Gauff has a lot to celebrate. She just recently won her first US Open at the age of 19 and rightfully so, a celebration is expected to be had.
Gauff shared images of a party she had in her hometown of Delray Beach, Florida with close friends and family.
“Me n only SOME of my favorite people,” the 19-year-old shared in the caption of a carousel of images from the event. She hosted her Grand Slam title-winning event at the Rosewater Rooftop restaurant.
Winning this new title was historic for Gauff and the game of tennis. She became the youngest American to win the tournament since Serena Williams in 1999. When she won, she shared with the crowd how thankful she was for her parent’s support. She even joked, “This is the first time I’ve ever seen my dad cry — he doesn’t want me to tell you that.”
Gauff’s celebrations are far from ending. The Sun Sentinel reported that Delray Beach already has plans for a parade in honor of the tennis champ.
