Snoop Dogg’s family is returning to TV screens for a very special occasion — his daughter’s nuptials.

In her heartfelt E! special, Snoop’s Fatherhood: Cori & Wayne’s Story, released on Dec. 5, Cori opened up about her journey, including a harrowing battle with depression and a suicide attempt during the pandemic.

“Since I was little, I’ve always been depressed,” Cori revealed in the special. Diagnosed with lupus, an autoimmune disease, she described the toll it took on her, saying, “Being sick with lupus and going to doctors all the time, it was hard. When COVID hit, I was in a dark place.”

As The Jasmine Brand reports, Cori also revealed a heartbreaking moment from the pandemic, recalling: “I tried to commit suicide in 2021.”

Expressing gratitude for the support of her fiancé, Wayne Duece, she said, “I’m lucky to have Wayne, but we’re all going through something. It will be okay, and it does get better with time.”

Cori found a way out of the darkness by channeling her energy into starting her own cosmetics line, Choc Factory. “I thought, ‘Okay, I gotta get out of this,’ and then I found lip gloss,” she said. “Choc Factory isn’t just a product; it’s a philosophy. It’s about uplifting and empowering women to share their stories.”

Cori also shared an update on her health, revealing promising news about her lupus journey. “I’ve been off my meds for a few months, and my labs look better than ever,” she said. “I’m still tired, but my body doesn’t ache as much.”
