Snoop Dogg is embarking on a new adventure with his upcoming tour in Canada. The tour, named the “Cali to Canada Tour,” was unveiled by Snoop himself on Instagram. Joining him on this journey are fellow West Coast legends DJ Quik and Warren G.
The “Cali to Canada Tour” will traverse through various Canadian cities, including Toronto, Calgary, Quebec City, and Montreal. This isn’t Snoop’s first time touring the Great White North. He previously embarked on a joint tour with Wiz Khalifa in the summer of 2023. However, what sets this tour apart is its focus on cities in the rural Prairie province, totaling 11 dates from Halifax on June 3 to Vancouver on June 25.
Snoop Dogg Taking it Back
Amidst his tour preparations, Snoop is experiencing a career resurgence. He is celebrating the 30th anniversary, Doggystyle, while prepping for his upcoming project with Dr. Dre, titled Missionary. The duo, known for their musical chemistry, is presenting Missionary as a successor to Doggystyle.
In a recent interview on All the Smoke with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, Snoop discussed the process for Missionary. He praised Dre for pushing his artistic boundaries and fostering growth in his songwriting.
Tickets for the “Cali to Canada Tour” go on sale starting April 5th, with a presale beginning on April 4th. Fans eager to secure their spots can use the code “CALI2CANADA” for expedited access. For those unable to catch Snoop in Canada, he’ll also be headlining the Lovers & Friends festival in Las Vegas on May 4.
Excitement for the tour is amplified by the promise of new music from Snoop. During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Dr. Dre confirmed the existence of a forthcoming Snoop Dogg album, Missionary, set to drop this year. Dre described the project as a collaborative effort reminiscent of their iconic debut, Doggystyle, promising fans a blend of nostalgia and innovation.
