Dave Coulier has revealed he’s been diagnosed with cancer.

The “Full House” star shared the shocking news while on the TODAY Show. He revealed that he was diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer that begins in the lymphatic system.

Coulier noticed symptoms a little over a month ago when he got a cold. The actor said that his lymph nodes under his arms and in his neck would normally swell when he is sick but this time was different when he found a golf ball-sized lump in his groin.

“It swelled up immediately,” he said during his interview. “I thought, ‘Wow, I’m either really sick or my body’s really reacting to something.”  Coulier went to the doctor and had a variety of tests done. Everything seemed to appear normal however, doctors did a biopsy of the lymph node to be on the safe side. He later found out why it was enlarged.

“My doctors said, ‘Hey, we wish we had better news, but you have non-Hodgkin lymphoma, B-cell lymphoma.’ It was a shock,” he recalled. Although he’s been diagnosed with cancer, Coulier isn’t letting it stop him from enjoying life.

“My joke is that in four short weeks, I’ve gone from a Virgo to a Cancer,” he said. “I’ve tried to retain a sense of reality but also a sense of humor about it.”

We will keep Dave Coulier and his loved one in our thoughts and prayers.
