Sean “Diddy” Combs, the once-revered music mogul, faces new accusations as six men have filed lawsuits against him. The claims range from rape to sexual assault, allegedly occurring between 1995 and 2021. The latest civil suits were filed anonymously on Monday, October 14, in New York by two Jane Does and four John Does.
The allegations detail multiple incidents of sexual misconduct, including assaults at Combs’ famous White Parties and even a sexual assault at Macy’s department store in New York. One accuser claimed that in 2008, Combs assaulted him in the store’s stockroom, forcing him into a sexual act. According to the lawsuit, the accuser reported the incident but faced retaliation from Macy’s executives.
Combs’ legal team strongly denies all accusations. “Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process,” his lawyers told CNN. “In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone—adult or minor, man or woman.”
Diddy Allegations of Power and Exploitation
Among the most disturbing claims is one from a 16-year-old male, who alleges that Combs assaulted him at a 1998 White Party in the Hamptons. The lawsuit states that Combs manipulated the boy by saying the assault was a “rite of passage” and necessary for stardom. This exploitation of power is a central theme throughout several of the accusations.
A separate lawsuit claims that Combs drugged a man working as security at a 2006 White Party before assaulting him in a van. This accuser alleges that the incident left him physically and emotionally traumatized.
Combs is currently in federal custody, awaiting trial for related charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and other criminal activities. His trial is set for May 2025, and he has pleaded not guilty. Despite the mounting allegations, his legal team remains confident.
