Diddy has announced that he is dropping a new film, Off The Grid. This comes on the heels of dropping his latest album, The Love Album: Off The Grid, last month.

The first trailer for the film dropped October 30th. It features Diddy and Ugandan actress Eva Apio. It shows the two in romantic action-filled scenes with background music from the new album.

“Working with Eva Apio was an incredible experience. Her talent and energy brought my vision to life,” Diddy said in a press release.

The movie, according to the press release, “encapsulates the whirlwind of romance, infused with passion, drama, and the enduring spirit of love, while the unfolding drama on screen is underscored by powerful music, amplifying the impact of each scene.”

The Love Album: Off The Grid includes featrues by names like by Justin Bieber, Abel Tesfaye (formerly known as The Weeknd), Mary J. Blige, Summer Walker, H.E.R., Jazmine Sullivan, and more. The Love Album became Diddy’s sixth top 10 project on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and debuted at No. 19 on the Billboard 200. It also peaked at No. 2 on the Top R&B Albums chart.

The new album was Diddy’s first solo release in 17 years and he says it was inspired by the “love era” he’s currently in.

“It’s been three years in the making and I stepped away from music for a while — just going through life’s peaks and valleys,” he told USA Today. “And to be able to return back to music, my first love, and to put out some great R&B music for y’all today is incredible.”
