Nia Long has spoken out for the first time since her ex-fiancé Ime Udoka was caught in a cheating scandal with an NBA staffer.
In a recent interview, the actress revealed the feeling she felt as soon as the news broke about Udoka’s affair. “I think the most heartbreaking thing about all of this was seeing my son’s face when the Boston Celtics organization decided to make a very private situation public,” she said.
Long continued, “It was devastating, and it still is.” She also went on to call out the Celtics for not reaching out to her once the news broke about the cheating. “If you’re in the business of protecting women- I’m sorry, no one from the Celtics organization has even called to see if I’m OK, to see if my children are OK. it’s very disappointing.”
However, Nia is remaining strong and reveals that she has a tribe behind her who is helping her get through this tough time. Nia Long and Ime Udoka were engaged in 2015 and they share an 11-year-old son together.
